Hi.  My name is Kevin Martin.  I suffered a stroke in April 2006.  I have Aphasia, which means I am unable to talk spontaneously.  I can’t move my right side so I walk with a cane.  Beau is being trained to help me be more independent and keep me safe.  He will be able to get help for me.  For example, he will be able to push my life line button.   He will be able to get my cane if I drop it, and help me to get up if I fall.  He will also assist me in my therapies.  Beau is a great dog and we will be great companions.  He will be my best friend!
